about the author
Elizabeth Dooley
As a child growing up in the suburbs of Manchester, England, there was nothing more Elizabeth liked to do than curl up with an exciting adventure story. Freedom to roam and play in the fields and woods near her home fuelled her adventurous spirit. Reading continued to feature large as she studied English at Leicester University and then went on to teach in Primary schools. Having married, and with three small children, her taste for adventure was satisfied by living for ten years in Chile, South America, where she wrote a book about the British pioneers of sheep farming in the wilds of Patagonia. Back where she grew up, and now with three grandchildren, she continues to love stories, including those found in the Bible.
